Our awards program

Community Arts Grants

$500 to $1,000. We support community-level arts programming designed to inspire and encourage continued development through the arts, because we believe in the value the arts possess in building community.

In the past we have funded everything from a wildly popular chorale experience at Carnegie Hall, to new theatrical productions, to an award-winning film about 9/11. Varied in concept, everything we have funded has aspired to a level of excellence that only earnest dedication to a craft provides.

Emerging Artist Awards

$500. This award is designed for an individual who possesses a unique dedication to their craft — something we like to appreciate across all disciplines.

Premier Awards

$10,000. New to our re-imagined vision, the Premier Awards are offered for a new work developed by either an individual artist or an arts organization. They represent Masterwork's commitment to contributing to new work across four disciplines that alter annually — music, theater, dance and the visual arts.

How to apply

Details for each award — eligibility, deadlines and how to submit — are announced on this site and through our social channels. If you are unsure which award fits your work, write to us at masterworkarts@gmail.com and we will point you in the right direction.
